Flow into Balance
As we move into fall, daylight and night move into equilibrium, giving us a perfect opportunity to find our own balance in this flow of life! This workshop will take us on a journey through a Vinyasa Flow focusing on incorporating these powerfully effective, balancing poses. Adding innovative transitions will lead us deeper into asana, challenge our balance, test our strength and give us kick ass super powers! When we approach the flow from this different perspective, concentrating on how the core, quads and upper body work together, we can move more skillfully and flow into balance!

Intro to Bhakti Yoga
What is Bhakti yoga? Bhakti means “devotion” or “love” and this path contains various practices to unite the practitioner with the Divine. Bhakti Yoga is considered one the easiest yogic paths to master and the most direct method to experience the unity of mind, body and spirit, without alot physical asana, the only requirement for Bhakti Yoga is an open, loving heart. We will explore the stories of a few of the Hindu deities and the corresponding mantras. Using these mantras to practice basic the art of kirtan (“singing” devotional songs, usually practiced in a call-and-response group format with musical instruments.) Also exploring the subtleties of the energetic body (chakras) and ‘feeling’ how the mantras are experienced in the body.

Hip and Shoulder Revolution
When your shoulders are crying from too many chaturanga’s and your hips are fatigued from Warrior poses and sitting on your asana too much, this workshop is where you go for solace! The focus will be to explore innovative ways to bring space and relief to the most commonly complained about areas in the yoga practice. Be prepared to let go of some tension and stress in a revolutionary way!
